GARDD GOCH

A journey of nature, conservation, and community.

Our Story

Gardd Goch is the unfolding story of 21 acres in rural Wales, a place transformed by founders Mark and Jane who sought a kinder, more natural way of life for themselves and the planet. What began as a personal retreat is now a thriving biodiversity haven of fields, woodland, and pond.

Driven by a deep commitment to nature conservation and sustainable land management through traditional methods, Gardd Goch aims to protect vital habitats and grow a community of like-minded people who put nature first.

Our Work

At Gardd Goch, we’re actively transforming our 21 acres through hands-on conservation and sustainable practices. Our current efforts include rewilding fields, managing ash dieback with expert arborists, and conducting pond surveys for winter restoration.

We embrace traditional hand tools and work with local specialists, all while exploring future initiatives like renewable energy and introducing livestock for natural grassland management.

Our Community

Gardd Goch is more than just a place, it’s a growing community. We’re looking for like-minded people who share our passion for nature conservation and want to help bring our vision to life.

Whether you’re interested in volunteering your time on the land, offering financial support, or simply connecting with fellow nature enthusiasts, there are many ways to be part of our story.
